At Natural Bio Health, we take pride in our knowledge of hormones and medical weight loss. However, we also take pride in our search for knowledge and expertise in a variety of areas that, while not directly related to or caused by hormones or excess body fat, are important to the health of our clients and their quality of life.

Some recent examples highlight the importance of looking not only at hormones and weight loss but other treatments to improve outcomes.

Dr. Feste successfully treats supposedly untreatable condition.

*Dr. Feste recently successfully treated a client who suffered from interstitial cystitis. This is a serious condition about which the Mayo Clinic says there is no treatment that reliably eliminates the condition although some offer relief.

Interstitial cystitis, also called painful bladder syndrome, is a chronic condition in which a woman (and sometimes a man) may experience bladder pressure, bladder pain and sometimes pelvic pain, ranging from mild discomfort to severe pain.

Interstitial cystitis can have a long-lasting impact on the quality of life. According to the Mayo Clinic, “although there’s no treatment that reliably eliminates interstitial cystitis, medications and other therapies may offer relief.”
Harvard reports “there’s no cure for Interstitial cystitis, but many treatments offer some relief, either singly or in combination. Figuring out what works can be hit-or-miss; there’s no way to predict who will respond best to which treatment.”

Harvard also states “Several other disorders are associated with Interstitial cystitis, including allergies, migraine, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia (a condition causing muscle pain), chronic fatigue syndrome, and vulvodynia (pain or burning in the vulvar area that isn’t caused by infection or skin disease).”

Mayo Clinic and Harvard says no treatment. Dr. Feste says YES.

*Dr. Feste recently saw a patient with severe interstitial cystitis who had failed innumerable treatments in the past at other clinics. He placed her on 200 units of medication daily and there is no more complaint of pain! She is preparing a testimonial for our website but she told Dr. Feste that “she couldn’t believe the results” and further stated it helped her mental acuity.

Untreatable conditions? *Dr. Feste has identified and successfully treated a number of clients for conditions that other physicians have been unable to treat with any success. He stated that this was the 4th patient that he has seen respond to hormones for conditions other than weight loss. This is considered an off-label use of hormones but appears to work well.

Dr. Feste has also identified a number of clients treated by a D&C for intrauterine polyps or submucous polyps.  He  explains that the D&C  is generally not sufficient to get rid of the cysts or polyps as it requires an operative hysteroscopy to visualize and remove the two pathologies.

Frequent Conditions. Ladies have been treated at Natural Bio Health for years for heavy bleeding, migraines, severe PMS, adrenal fatigue, infertility and many other conditions. They have been treated for thyroid deficiencies missed by conventional medicine.

Men. Low energy, poor sleep quality, decreased drive and ambition, reduced libido, increasing body fat, fear of heart disease, fear of prostate cancer. All of these conditions have been addressed at Natural Bio Health.

Prostate Cancer? Both Dr. Weiler and Dr. Feste are treating men who have a history of prostate cancer with testosterone. Why? The science is clear; it is low levels of testosterone that create the risk for prostate cancer, not high levels.

Just because you had prostate cancer does not mean that you have to live life deprived of testosterone. If you are afraid of prostate cancer, then check your levels. It is low levels that you should worry about.

The Truth About Testosterone.
